Bricco del Bagatto® – Dolcetto di Ovada D.O.C.

Origin:
Cru “Bricco del Bagatto”, owners’ vineyards located at Rocca Grimalda, plot Piani del Padrone.
This cru’s grapes are carefully selected while being harvested.

Refining:
Approximately 10 months in a inox-steel tank; part of this time sees the wine ripen in conctact with noble dregs, a procedure which enriches its taste and smell in a remarkable way.

Organolectic characteristics:

The wine has a beautiful thick-ruby color, continuous and covered up the edges, with dashing purple reflexes; the smell is rich, fine, and intensive, quite complex (one can pick up notes of redcurrant and pomegranate, shades of violet and raspberry and characteristics flavors of toasted bread); its taste is rich, fully structured, soft, with tannins present though well smooth, and long-lasting persistency.

Best with:
Filled pastas, white meats, sauced fish, medium seasoned cheese.
